European Airlines

At a recent press conference, Wizz Air Ukraine, the first ever low-cost airline of Ukraine announced its decision to open its new base in Kiev Boryspil Airport on 11 July 2008. Initially, the airline will operate seven Ukranian domestic routes from this new base.

From Kiev Boryspil Airport, the low fare air services will be offered to destinations including Lviv, Odessa, Simferopol, Kharkov and Zaporozhye. The Ukranian travelers will also be able to benefit from the connections offered by the airline from Lviv and Kharkov to Simferopol. Notably, Simferopol is a popular Krym resort.

Tickets are being sold for these routes from 24th April and the all-inclusive fares start from as low as UAH 79. The Ukrainian public will be able to benefit from the brand new Airbus A320 aircraft featuring 180 leather seats besides the low-fares and the convenient air travel experience offered by the airline.

Natália Kázmér, Director General of Wizz Air Ukraine remarked, "Today is a milestone event in the development of Wizz Air as well as for the Ukrainian traveling public. Wizz Air Ukraine's high quality service and low fares will change the dynamics of the Ukrainian transportation market. Now all those who never thought of flying before will have the opportunity to travel fast, safely and comfortably on our new Airbus A320 aircraft for the fraction of the current prices. Wizz Air Ukraine has ambitious plans to quickly expand by adding international routes and domestic services."

Tickets can be purchased from the airline's website www.wizzair.com.
