Aer Lingus, the flag carrier of Ireland based at Dublin airport, has unveiled its winter schedule from Cork Airport-new additions in flights and routes are introduced.
The carrier started sale of tickets for these flights on 21st May, offering travellers the chance to travel to a number of destinations including Malaga, Tenerife and Lanzarote. All the destinations are hot favourite with passengers and no wonder that passengers of Aer Lingus will be quite delighted to visit these destinations from Cork Airport.
The airline's winter schedule also features the introduction of a new service to Geneva. The new service will be started in early December this year-Aer Lingus is certainly providing great opportunities to its passengers to visit around Europe.
Additionally, Aer Lingus will be continuing its Faro service, operating flights to the Portuguese city until the end of the month of November. With this, the total number of routes served by the Irish based carrier from Cork becomes eighteen.
The corporate affairs director for Aer Lingus, Enda Corneille, said that the carrier was very happy with the number of routes it is now offering to travellers.
Ms. Corneille said, "We are delighted to extend our offering, giving customers greater choice of destination, quality service and creating new links in inbound tourism all of which is enhancing our customer base from Cork".
And, in the last six years, Aer Lingus has improved its capacity from Cork Airport by seventy per cent.
