easyJet, one of the Europe's largest low-fares carriers, has Britain's most popular flight-booking website, reveals a new survey conducted by Which?. This is sort of boost for the major airlines as it reveals that customers love to plan their travel using easyjet's services online.
This news appears a week after Hitwise said that the London Luton based carrier was the UK's favourite travel website.
According to a survey in the Which? Holiday magazine, flights are the most popular online travel bookings and one in five people ranked easyJet as the best. And, the largest carrier and the flag carrier of United Kingdom, British Airways (BA) secured the second place in the survey with 18 per cent of those survey positively rating the website of the carrier.
Which ? Holiday's Editor, Lorna Cowan, said, "While value for money is clearly important, ease of use is even more important to people. A website that is easy to use and quick to use could well turn a browser into a buyer".
According to the survey, the most valuable features of a booking website that makes it good are its ease of use, next, value for money, and then, the power to sort search results and comparing different destinations or hotels.
Most people do not like websites that ask them for a registration before searching or the websites with a longer loading time and do not have the flexibility with dates to be searched.
