Virgin Atlantic, one of the world's biggest long-haul carriers, has put Upper Class seats for its flights to a select number of destinations on sale until the 24th of June.

Fares start from just £1099 and are inclusive of pre-paid passenger taxes, fees and charges. Travel is valid up to and including the 31st of December.

Destinations offered in the sale include Miami, New York, Chicago, Boston, Washington DC, Los Angeles, San Francisco, Mumbai, Delhi, Shanghai, Dubai, Nairobi and Lagos.

Virgin Atlantic's Sales & Marketing Director, Paul Dickinson, said, "Now that the Upper Class passenger journey is better than ever with our new Upper Class Wing at Heathrow, passengers are getting through to our award winning Clubhouse quicker than ever giving them time to relax before their flight, so these Upper Class sale fares on offer for travel throughout the year make the opportunity to fly Upper Class too good to turn down".

With Virgin's new 'Upper Class Wing' all of the carrier's business passengers are able to go through the terminal more quickly than ever before, moving from limo to lounge in less than ten minutes.

The airline's Upper Class customers and Flying Club Gold members heading for the airport at their own can check-in at the 'Upper Class Reception' in the main terminal's Zone-A. And, then can go for a dedicated security channel by taking a lift.
