United Airlines has uncovered its plans to improve its on-board dining experience for the international passengers traveling with the carrier on a first class ticket. This would be a great improvement for the first-class passengers.
From the month of August, passengers travelling in the first class cabin of the carrier will be able to make their own choice for the items they want to take in their food and the time at which they want it the service-they need to look for a set service schedule for a limited choice of items.
In addition, the carrier will be making more improvements in its in-flight dining for first class passengers by introducing specially produced service tableware and sheets.
Alex Marren, Vice President for onboard service at United Airlines, said, "Months of research with our frequent international customers clearly indicated that offering a flexible and customised first class dining option is key to a best-in-class premium customer experience".
"With our new dining option, our flight attendants can create an individualised experience and recognise what our first class customers' value most when dining, even if it is having an ice cream sundae before dinner", Marren added.
At present, United Airlines operates its services from London Heathrow to San Francisco, Los Angeles, Washington DC and Chicago.
Also, the carrier is set to start offering its services to a new route to Denver from the 30th of March.
