Manx2.com, the Isle of Man based carrier, is offering 10,000 reduced price seats on its flights from the island to Blackpool and Belfast over the winter season. This is one of those good offers for regional air travel that passengers can avial in times of Christmas and New Year.
The airline is offering the one way tickets at a price starting from just £15 on these routes. Bookings must be made at least eight weeks before the departure. The airline believes that the offer will boost the travel to and from the island. It is important here that passengers who want to visit Isle of Man, can book their tickets at such a low price, which is not offered during whole year.
Manx2.com's chairman, Noel Hayes, said, "We think this is the biggest seat sale every undertaken by an Isle of Man company, and we hope it will be very popular indeed with islanders".
Hayes further said, "We have been working closely with the airport and tourism authorities to put this major promotion together, and we fully expect it to change the face of local aviation in 2008".
According to the tourism minister of the island, Adrian Earnshaw the low priced fares were playing an important role in boosting travel.
Earnshaw also supported Manx2.com's offer of cut price tickets saying that it has every chance of being a successful move. So, overall, it is expected to be a very good move to inspire passengers to travel to Isle of Man.
