Thomas Cook Airlines, Manchester based British charter airline, has based a brand new flying machine at Leeds Bradford Airport-this would increase the flights served by Thomas Cook Airlines.
Now, the carrier will use an Airbus A320 to fly out of the regional airport, offering services to a total of seventeen destinations and increasing the capacity for its summer schedule by twenty per cent. Passengers of Thomas Cook Airlines would certainly be delighted with this news as they can now fly from Leeds Bradford Airport to different destinations.
The carrier will serve a number of key holiday destinations from its new base at Leeds Bradford Airport, among these are the Malta, Canary Islands, Turkey, Greece, Cyprus and Portugal-all of them are favourites among UK holidaymakers.
Frank Pullman, a spokesman of Thomas Cook Airlines, said, "We took the decision to base an aircraft at Leeds Bradford Airport this summer due to popularity of and the demand for the flights that we offer".
Pullman further said, "Everyone at the airline has worked incredibly hard in preparation for the summer season, so we are looking forward to serving the holidaymakers of Yorkshire".
At present, Leeds Bradford Airport offers services to more than 70 destinations including both domestic and international. So with the additions of these destinations by Thomas Cook Airlines, the passengers of Leeds Bradford would have access to more destinations around the world and no wonder that they would enjoy this enhancement greatly.
