Ryanair extends lowest fare guarantee
European Airlines

In a move that was welcomes by a great number of passengers, Ryanair, the reputed low-cost carrier has further extended its scheme of lowest fare guarantee to govern all bookings made till 30th September.

Notably, the famous Irish airline had guaranteed its passengers lowest fares on its services from five of the UK airports to any one of the five European destinations namely City, Heathrow, Gatwick, Luton and Stansted. Further, the airline had also added that if a passenger claims otherwise, he would be given a double refund. In addition, he will also be included in a draw to win a cash prize of £10,000.

Peter Sherrard, Ryanair's personnel remarked, "Last year, there were less than 50 successful claims, so any passenger who finds a rare example of a lower fare with a competitor airline stands a great chance of winning. We are so confident that passengers won't find a lower fare with a competitor that we're offering an added incentive to any passenger who finds a rare example of a cheaper fare with another airline."

Mr Sherrard also noted that by way of celebrating the extension of this guarantee offer, the airline was offering more than three million one-way £10 seats on their website for travels in April, May and June. Earlier, the scheme was found to contribute to a dramatic increase in the number of bookings with the airline.

He added, "We advise passengers to book today because Ryanair's fares can't be beaten. That's guaranteed."
