easyJet, one of the Europe's largest low-fares carrier, has introduced a new daily service to Nantes from London Gatwick Airport. This is a great opportunity for passengers of easyJet to travel to the city of Nantes with such a low price of ticket in the wake of rising fuel costs around the world.
The London Luton airport-based budget carrier started operating the new route between the London hub and the French city on 21st May.
One-way tickets for the new service are available at a price starting from as little as £23.99, with return fares available at just £43.60. All the fares are inclusive of taxes.
The carrier is hopeful that its new route will be popular among customers looking for a new destination for a city break.
easyJet's new destination, Nantes, is located in the Loire region of Western France. As such, the airline is also predicting that the new service to the French city will appeal to travellers who would be interested in using the city as a base for visiting the Loire Valley.
David Osborne, easyJet's UK general manager, said, "easyJet has seen a huge increase in flights to great short-break destinations this year, reinforcing easyJet's position as the favourite airline for independent travellers, providing convenient low-cost flights from your local airport".
At present, easyJet operates its services to a number of other destinations in France, including the capital city of Paris, Toulouse, Marseilles and Lyon.
