From 10th December, a new door-to-door shared journey minibus service will be started for Stansted Airport travellers. This would turn out to be a very good facility for the passengers of Stansted.

Stansted Shuttle, the new service will offer transportation services travellers between the airport and any place in Essex, and a few surrounding places, and the service can also be expanded if it becomes popular among passengers.

Passengers will be able to avail the service seven days a week, throughout the year. The minibus will depart after every hour from a dedicated stand at Stansted Airport Coach Station, and if the customers want to be picked up from their given addresses, they can take advantage of the pre-booking service.

Prices of journey are: £20 one-way and £30 return for an individual; £30 single and £45 return for a couple; and £40 single and £55 return for a family of four members.

Sky Transfers, the operators are claiming that there will be no more than 4 other customer pick-ups in any case.

Colin Bland, Stansted Shuttle's head of sales and marketing, said, "Our value for money fares will appeal to both budget and business travellers who are looking for a door-to-door, personal service".

To ensure the availability of seats, passengers are advised to make pre-bookings on the website of the service at www.stanstedshuttle.info, though new arrivals at the airport will be able to book the available seats after the launch of the shuttle.
