Monarch, the low-cost airline has already announced its highly enhanced winter schedule for the year 2008, detailing the departures from London Gatwick.
Interestingly, the new timetable will see the carrier almost double the number of its services to the Canary Islands of Tenerife and Lanzarote. In addition, the airline will also expand its connections to several other hotspots in Spain as part of its expansion plans. Addressing the popular demands in these routes, these services occur as top highlight in the winter schedule of the airline.
The winter timetable of Monarch features around seven weekly flights a week operated to Tenerife, around five flights a week to Lanzarote, and about 11 flights to both Alicante and Malaga. Over and above, Monarch is also significantly expanding its connections from Gatwick Airport to Murcia. In this route, the airline will be offering up to five flights a week. This will also include new services with departures on Sunday and Tuesday.
