With effect from 31st March, EasyJet, the low cost airline has launched its new services from Manchester. According to the announcement made by the airline, about six routes will be offered from Manchester including services to Malaga, Heraklion, Paphos, Malta and Tenerife. Most interestingly, by way of celebrating the new launch, the airline will tour around the city of Manchester in an orange bus giving away easyJet prices.
Notably, it is estimated that not less than half a million passengers will travel with easyJet on departures from Manchester during the next 12 months alone.
easyJet UK general manager, David Osborne observed, "Today easyJet has established a new base at Manchester, bringing the total number of easyJet bases in the UK to eleven. easyJet recognises the strong demand for low-cost convenient services from the North West and we are delighted to be the North West's largest airline."

Inclusive of taxes and charges, from Manchester, prices to Herklion start from £32.99, with services on Tuesdays and Fridays. For daily flights to Malaga, prices start from £29.99, while charges to Malaga start from £29.99. Sunday services to Innsbruck are priced from £27.00. Five times weekly services to Paphos start from £32.99 and to Tenerife from £32.99.
