Lufthansa, based in Cologre, has launched a new Personal Assistant service at London Heathrow Airport.
The German carrier has introduced the new personal assistance service after a three months trial. The new service is available to the passengers travelling with the airline on a First Class ticket and to the members of HON Circle.
London Heathrow is the first hub based in Europe to take advantage from the Personal Assistance service of the German airline.
The passengers travelling with Lufthansa from Heathrow's Terminal 2 (T2) and are interested in using the new service will be greeted by a dedicated Personal Assistant at check-in. The PA will then take them through security checks to the airline's lounge.
While making announcement for the introduction of airline's new service, Lufthansa's Marianne Sammann said, "Lufthansa's new Personal Assistant service offers a new and exclusive benefit for our best and most loyal customers flying out of London, further strengthening our leading position in the premium segment".
Sammann further said, "As one of Lufthansa's most important markets, London boasts the highest share of Lufthansa's UK-based top frequent fliers and London Heathrow alone ranks number six in Lufthansa's worldwide rankings for HON Circle membership".
The German carrier is also working out for the introduction of a similar benefit at its London City Airport hub--so passengers can expect a real good flying experience from the London City Airport.
