In a strategic operation to expand into the region, Flybe has recently announced its decision to introduce brand new route connecting Jersey and Paris Charles de Gaulle. Once the services commence during April in this new route, the flights are to be operated all year round, with six departures in a week. Therefore, excepting Saturday, tickets can be booked on any other day of the week. The new service in the route will be launched on 28th April with one-way fares starting from £29.99, with the fares inclusive of all taxes and other charges.
In addition to this new route, Flybe has also announced that it will commence two new routes for the summer with departures from Jersey to Newquay and the Isle of Man with weekly services. This service will be operated between May and September.
Commenting on these new launches, Chief Commercial Officer of Flybe, Mike Rutter, observed, "This new route reflects our continued commitment to the island and to promoting the growth of regional air travel. However, none of this would have been possible without the support given by the Jersey government in relation to the Paris route - an indication of the strategic importance of this route for the island."
The weekly services to Newquay and the Isle of Man will offer flights on Saturdays between 24th of May and 27th of September. The one-way charges start from £34.99 to Cornwall and from £44.99 to the Isle of Man.
