Iceland Express adds flights on London to Kefalavik route
European Airlines

Iceland Express is going to increase the number of its flights between London Stansted and Kefalavik, which is located in the south-west of Iceland. This is welcome news for passengers, as now they have more variety of flights going to Kefalavik. They can plan their trip with more options of schedules and fare.

From the 26th of February, 2008, the carrier will offer 11 flights in a week between the two destinations, which is two flights more than the flights in the summer schedule. Prices of these flights will start from just £69 one-way, including all the taxes and charges. So, this is a sort of winter bonanza for passengers.

The decision to add more flights on this route has come about partly because UK based airline British Airways has decided to suspend its services between London Gatwick and Iceland. So, it serves as the compliment services to Iceland for passengers visiting the country provided by the Iceland Express.

Mattias Imsland, the chief executive for Iceland Express, said, "This is a part of offering better service on the route between London Stansted and Iceland, which is an increasingly exciting and popular destination for UK travelers".

The airline also offers its services from London Stansted to Reykjavik-the capital city of Iceland. For this service, the airline offers tickets at a price starting from less than £50 one-way. All the taxes and charges are included in the quoted price.
