Another award was added to the name of White, Hilton Auckland's award winning restaurant, after it was named as one of the Great Hotel Restaurants of the World for 2007 by HOTELS Magazine.

The HOTELS Magazine, which is published by Reed Business Information in the USA, is considered as the leading magazine of the hospitality industry.
The Awards' selection committee comprised of 11 of the world's most experienced hospitality consultants, writers and editorsincluding Mary Gostelow, Kurt Fisher and Fred Feretti.
The committee commented, "Menus at this year's Great Hotel Restaurant honorees signal a new passion for healthy "clean" food that creative chefs can enhance with anything from inventive preparation techniques to international accents".
Defining White's cuisine, the judges marked, "Bernabe's signature style starts with simple dishes, then jumpstarts their impact by creating interesting combinations and enhancing natural flavours with delicate sauces or broths".
