In a recent move that received an overwhelming welcome from its customers, Hertz Australia has introduced an online check-in service for its passengers. The present move is aimed at reducing the amount of time taken for the customers to move to their respective rental vehicles from the check-in counter.
To avail this facility, the passengers need to check-in online well in advance. Hertz customers need to log in to the specified site and submit their personal information including their name, telephone numbers, address, and driver's license details. The process must be completed before they leave their home. The entire arrangement following the submitting of information helps the customers streamline the process right from the point of arrival at the Hertz check-in counter till they reach their rental vehicle, undergoing a minimal or almost negligible delay.
While commenting on the reason behind the introduction of this new arrangement, Wayne Burgoyne, the director of sales and marketing of Hertz Australia observed, "Waiting time is wasted time. Both business travellers and leisure travellers want to get going as fast as possible to maximise either their working day or their holiday time."
Wayne Burgoyne too added further, "By enabling our customers to provide personal details online before they start their journey we can cut the time it takes customers to collect to their cars and help them to get on their way."
Presently, Hertz features more than 220 locations scattered throughout Australia.
