Hertz Rent A Car has come to a decision to provide customers with the option to take a rental vehicle only for a part of the day, rather than to pay for a full 24 hour rental period.
The decision is made keeping in mind clients who want to be present at some special events, or are looking for a more economical and convenient option for their transport needs.
The new option allows Hertz customers in Europe to rent a vehicle for a part of a day, anywhere between 3 to 6 hours: they can now rent a vehicle for less than the amount they would be normally paying for a full day car hire. This is great news for people who like to go for short breaks in certain cities around Europe-Hertz's offer would come good to them.
Those who want to drive overnight from one place to another can also take advantage of the new service by renting the vehicle for 9 hours.
Before deciding to introduce this new option, Hertz conducted a study into car rental trends in Europe and discovered that according to a recent survey sixty-one per cent of those surveyed said that they would like to hire a passenger vehicle if they could get it for less than 24 hours' period.
The new rental service, called Hertz 369, is currently available only in a few nations, including Germany, France, UK, Belgium, Italy, Spain, Netherlands, and Switzerland.
