Flybe, one of Europe's largest low-cost airlines, is to offer a year round service on the route between Guernsey and the French capital city, Paris. The carrier will start serving the route on the 11th of July. This is certainly a welcome news for passengers of Flybe.
The UK's leading non-London centric airline will serve the new route with a four times per week service.
Passengers will be able to book their tickets for the new service from the 23rd of April. The airline will offer one way tickets at a price starting from just £29.99.
The news appears soon after an announcement by the carrier that it would start operating its services to Belfast from Guernsey.
Mike Rutter, chief commercial officer at Flybe, said, "With this brand new route to Paris we're giving Guernsey travellers an unbeatable low cost offer for direct travel to the French capital".
Rutter further said, "With the recent addition of the Guernsey to Dublin route we remain resolutely committed to giving our customers an exciting and convenient range of travel options. It is confirmation that we are champions of affordable and convenient travel choices to exciting destinations across the UK and Europe".
According to Chris Elliott of Guernsey Airport the air link to Paris Charles de Gaulle provided travellers-both business and leisure-with the opportunity to enjoy a link between destinations around the globe.
