Recently, Flybe has completed the installation of brand 64 new electronic check-in kiosks featuring self-service. The new facility offers an additional choice and hassle-free check-in experience for passengers across the airports of the UK.
The present move by the airline follows the growing concern in the airline industry to offer highly cost effective check-in channels to the passengers thereby widening the choice as well as removing the hassles associated with the process. Even as the new system is being launched, it could secure a mass appreciation from more than 40% of the airline's customers who have started using it already.
The brand new SelfServ kiosks have been installed in all the 13 UK airports from which Flybe operates. The list also includes Jersey and Guernsey, the Channel Island bases of the airline. The new Selfserv kiosks have been installed by ARINC Inc. Notably; this company is one of the most reputed providers of advanced check in and boarding systems across the country.
Director of Marketing - Flybe, Simon Lilley observes, "We are committed to getting the millions of passengers we carry each year through the check in process as quickly and efficiently as possible. These machines minimise queuing and really do speed things up, allowing our passengers to better enjoy their travel experience with Flybe. We are pleased with the customer uptake, however are not surprised that such hassle free check-in channels are proving so popular.
We will continue providing our passengers a suite of affordable options meeting their needs."
