Flybe's new Inverness services take off
European Airlines

Flybe, one of Europe's largest low-cost carriers, has started offering three new flights from Inverness Airport. This is good news for passengers of Inverness Airport, as Flybe is famous for providing low priced flights to various destinations across UK and Europe.

The KU's leading non-London centric carrier started operating its services on the new routes last Thursday, the 8th of May, offering links to Exeter, Southampton and Manchester airports as part of its new schedule for the summer season of 2008.

The routes to Exeter and Manchester will be served daily, with one-way ticket available at just £32.99 and £45.99 respectively, while the services to Southampton will be operated twice daily with tickets available at a price starting from just £24.99.

All the fares on these flights offered by Flybe are inclusive of taxes and surcharges.

Inglis Lyon, the spokesperson for Highlands and Islands Airports, said, "The launch of Flybe's new services represents further investment on the airline's part in connecting the Highlands with the rest of the UK".

Lyon further said, "We expect the new services to be popular with both business and leisure travellers and look forward to them contributing to significant growth at Inverness this year".

And, last week, Inverness Airport opened the doors of its brand new 'pay-per-use executive lounge' for the passengers. The new lounge has a capable to accommodate up to 360 customers. So, this is a double bonanza for passengers of Inverness Airport.
