Flybe added more flights on the route between Manchester and the Isle of Man, offering fans of the Isle of Man TT the chance to have a more frequent access.
One of Europe's largest low-cost carriers will operate a fourth Saturday service on both 31st May and 7th June and will be added to the airline's existing schedule of up to 5 flights per day. This is great news for passengers of Flybe as they will have more options of flying.
One-way tickets for the additional flights will be available at a price starting from just £18.99.
Flybe's chief commercial officer, Mike Rutter, said, "Convenient and affordable travel to and from the Isle of Man over the duration of the annual TT races is vital for the economy so we hope this will be a win-win for everyone. The additional services will make the Isle of Man even more accessible for fans looking for affordable travel options over this extremely busy time".
Last year more than 60,000 enthusiasts landed on the island to celebrate the centenary celebrations of TT.
This year, the Isle of Man TT motorcycle races will be taking place between the 24th of May and the 7th of June.
Flybe's additional flight will take off from Manchester at 4.45 p.m. and will reach the Isle of Man at 5.30 p.m. From Isle of Man, flights will take off at 3.35 p.m. and will reach Manchester at 4.20 p.m.
