VLM Airlines, the business airline, has said that it will fly more flights to the Isle of Man in order to deal with an increased demand from those who want to see this year's TT Races. This is great news for fans of TT Races, as they will be able to take flights with widened schedule.
The airline will fly 3 additional flights operating on: Friday, the 30th of May; Saturday, the 31st of May; and Saturday, the 7th of June from London City Airport. So, this is a great chance if you want to visit Isle of Man.
The business airline is operating the additional flights to compensate for reduced services to the Isle of Man due to the failure of EuroManx.
The managing director of VLM Airlines, Mr. Johan Vanneste, said that the airline was pleased to offer its help by operating additional flights for TT fans so that they could see the sporting event.
He said, "We are delighted that we can offer additional flights to cater to the demands of the many spectators who will travel to the Isle of Man for the TT races. The races are not only a great sporting experience, but a vital component of the economy of the Isle of Man, and we are pleased to be supporting that".
At present, VLM Airlines operates non-stop flights from London City Airport to the Isle of Man every day, on Mondays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Thursdays, Fridays and Sundays.
