Etihad Airways, the National Airline of the United Arab Emirates, has revealed plans to increase the number of its services between Ireland and Abu Dhabi by introducing a daily flight to the Irish capital city of Dublin. This would be very good news for passengers looking to travel to Dubai from Ireland, as now they will have more options to do so. Travelling to Dubai has received a boost in the recent past.
Starting from the 30th of March, the carrier will introduce a daily flight between Dublin and the Emirate, which will be an addition to its current six times a week service.
The company also made a reference to the success of the route since its introduction in month of July last year, with the carrier serving more than 44,000 travellers.
James Hogan, Etihad Airways' chief executive, said, "Dublin has been one of Etihad's most successful launches since the airline began in 2003 especially with customers flying onwards from Abu Dhabi to our destinations in the Far East such as Bangkok and Sydney".
Hogan further said, "It is great news that we can now provide a daily operation to the Irish capital which has become such a key service for business and leisure travellers travelling between the UAE and Ireland".
In addition to its Dublin services, the carrier also offers its services from Manchester and London Heathrow to a number of destinations including Bahrain, Islamabad and Dhaka.
