In an interesting move, easyJet, has launched two new services connecting London Luton with Jersey and Pisa. The new service operated to Jersey will offer the travellers a rare access to some of the most stunning scenery in Europe. Notably, Pisa is a historic city dating back to several hundred years, highly noted for the world popular leaning tower. This place is also the gateway to the wonderful region of Tuscany located in Italy.
Jersey is located in the southernmost part of the British Isles. This is notably the largest of the Channel Islands offering breathtaking views of lush green valleys and the pristine coastal line. The generous taxation scheme of this place also sees proliferation of businesses.
The one-way charges of the new route to Jersey start from £21.99 and from £23.99 to Pisa inclusive of all charges and taxes. During the next twelve months alone, the airline is set to transport more than 100,000 passengers in either of these new routes. Interestingly, the most unique easyJet orange 'Jersey cow' will greet the passengers for the inaugural Jersey flight.
easyJet's UK General Manager, David Osborne, observed, "Two popular destinations with something for everyone. Jersey is home to a stunning coastline for the water sports enthusiasts and the main street is a shoppers' delight, where duty-free is plentiful. Pisa boasts not just the legendary leaning tower, but also several other attractions, and is a perfect gateway to the stunning region of Tuscany and the near by city of Florence."
