Wizz Air, the low-cost carrier, has revealed that it will begin operating new services to Doncaster Sheffield Robin Hood Airport from Warsaw.
The airline will start operating the new flights from 1st April, and offer a three times a week service. The price of tickets for the new service will be starting at just £16.99 one-way.
Robin Hood Airport's managing director, David Ryall, said, "We are delighted with the performance of Wizz Air at Robin Hood Airport. Warsaw is an important business capital, and businesses from across the Airport Region will benefit from the introduction of this key European city route".
Ryall further said, "Warsaw is a hugely popular tourist destination too, and we are pleased to be working with Wizz Air to meet the demand for low cost travel to Poland".
The route to Warsaw will be fifth Polish route served by Wizz Air from Doncaster after Katowice and Gdansk and joins services to Poznan and Wroclaw, which are set to begin in the year ahead.
Flights will depart Warsaw at 12.40 p.m. and will reach Doncaster Sheffield at 2.10 p.m. (Tuesday); depart Warsaw at 7.15 a.m. and will reach Doncaster Sheffield at 8.45 a.m. (Thursday) and depart Warsaw at 12.20 p.m. and will reach Doncaster Sheffield at 1.50 p.m. (Saturday).
On the return journey, flights will depart Doncaster Sheffield at 2.40 p.m. and will reach Warsaw at 6 p.m. (Tuesday); depart Doncaster Sheffield 9.15 a.m. and will reach Warsaw at 12.35 p.m. (Thursday) and depart Doncaster Sheffield at 2.20 p.m. and will reach Warsaw at 5.40 p.m. (Saturday).
