One of the hotel brands in the portfolio of the InterContinental Hotels Group (IHG), Crowne Plaza, has unveiled the second year of its Think Tank model which intends to strengthen its position as the favourite option for the discerning corporate traveller.
The Crowne Plaza Think Tank, which is celebrating innovation this year, will be working with best from the corporate and creative sectors, called the Crowne Plaza innovators, to give rise to tailored innovations to directly do good for business travellers staying at its properties.
The new platform emerges from the success of its Think Tank activity a year ago, which witnessed the hotel brand associate with a group of creative leaders, the Crowne Plaza mavericks.
Crowne Plaza ran a number of exclusive activities across Europe where the mavericks gave corporate travellers an insight into the means that they use to be in the lead of the game.
Crowne Plaza will work together with a number of leaders, and each of them will develop a unique product or service for its properties. Hotels across Ireland, UK, Belgium, Andorra, Germany, France, Italy, the Netherlands, the Middle East and Spain will each receive a selection of the different creations.
Today the hotel brand has unveiled the first leader to be included in the drive.
An author, inventor and speaker, Mr. Roger von Oech, specialises in working out methods and products that encourage inventiveness and make the most of energy within meetings.
As his creation for the Think Tank concept, Mr. Roger has created a Think Box which will be available in select meeting rooms across the region.
