CityJet, an Air France subsidiary based in Dublin, is making adjustments to its operating schedule at London City Airport.
The carrier is introducing some new services to Holland: with the introduction of its new services the total number of its flights from the docklands airport will reach forty. London City Airport is already having increased flights to different destinations and it is welcome news for passengers using the services of this airport and CityJet.
With its new schedule, the carrier will offer day-return flights from London City Airport to the southern Dutch city of Eindhoven. And, in order to make this change possible, from the 24th of May, it is putting all of its flights to Belfast's George Best Airport on hold. So, passengers can the advantage of using London City Airport while travelling with CityJet.
In a statement, the Dublin based carrier said, "The decision has been made for commercial reasons and to allow for the rescheduling of the CityJet for Air France network".
The route has been served by Scot Airways on behalf of CityJet on a twice a day basis (on weekdays) since March 2007.
From London City Airport, CityJet operates its flights to Dublin, Eindhoven, Dundee, Geneva, Paris Charles de Gaulle, Nice, Paris Orly, Zurich and Strasbourg. Addition to these routes will surely increase the customer base of the airlines and in future it might add some more routes and flights from London City Airport.
