The Crown of Melbourne is well on the path to turn out to be a world-famous gastro-temple, as Gordon Ramsay, the celebrity chef, is getting ready to start a signature restaurant at the vibrant casino complex, and make a reality TV series on the experience.

The TV series, set to air later this year, will focus on the hunt for a chef to operate the top-end location in Australia.

Gordon Ramsay is expected to be in Melbourne in the month of June to establish his new location at the grand Crown Complex. The new restaurant, which is supposed to open in the month of December this year, will be Ramsay's first in Australia and 13th outside the United Kingdom. Nicholas Cage is once again in Melbourne for the shooting of Knowing-a science-fiction drama where the character of the Oscar-winning actor is in a hurry to block a time capsule full of frightening insights from coming to life.

The actor had spent the first half of the year 2005 in Melbourne filming 'Ghost Rider' and shortly after purchased a comfortable apartment at the favourite Eureka Tower.

He is reported to have been interested in coming back to the city, appreciating the nice, sophisticated Melbournians; over the past few weeks.

The project, which according to Cage is an 'apocalyptic kind of story', will feature a stunning plane crash, filmed on the Geelong ring road. Among other sites used in the shooting are the Melbourne Museum, Collins Street and Mount Macedon.
