Cardiff International Airport is getting ready for the start of air travel services on a new Barcelona route, which is scheduled to be launched for the first time on the 24th May. Lots of airlines are starting new flights to Spain and now bmibaby will be offering services to Barcelona, which is a very good chance for the passengers to visit Spanish country.
The new Barcelona service is being offered by the low cost carrier, bmibaby, and during its first week of its launch the carrier will serve more than 370 travellers. So, if you would like, you can book a ticket for this flight.
Until the 18th of June, the route will be operated with two times a week service and the carrier will then increase the frequency to a three flights per week, thanks to an additional flight operated on Wednesday.
The carrier will be offering tickets for the new service from Cardiff to Barcelona at a price starting from just £24.99 one-way. Fares are inclusive of all the taxes and charges.
bmibaby's managing director, Crawford Rix, said, "Barcelona is already a popular destination from our other UK bases and now travellers in Wales can access this stylish and dynamic city from their doorstep too.
The inaugural flight is 95 per cent full and forward bookings are extremely encouraging".
At present, bmibaby operates its flights to thirteen destinations from Cardiff International Airport, including Edinburgh, Alicante, Gdansk, Faro, Palma and Malaga.
