Brussels Airlines to increase flights to Entebbe
European Airlines

SN BRUSSELS Airlines is set to launch a fourth flight from Entebbe to Brussels with the achievement of an A330 Airbus aircraft. The airline's vice-president for ground operations, Jan De Leeuw says in an interview, "We are pleased that the acquisition of an additional A330 Airbus allows us to increase the frequency of our flights to and from Uganda. This will enable us further improve the quality of our flights. Freight transport will also benefit from this frequency and capacity increase".

The only carrier that gives direct flights between Entebbe and Brussels every Monday, Wednesday and Friday, Brussels Airlines, from December 16 will now have the new flight every Sunday. The new flight service will surely give a great boost to the region's tourism, and there is direct connection between these new flights and the freight transport between the two cities.

"In September, passengers would be able to select seat numbers and check in online", says De Leeuw. Some crew members would board at Entebbe as the airline advances the ability on its routes notably in Africa.

De Leeuw says Africa is the chief market for the airline due to rising of political stability. They invest euros 100m in Africa annually and about euros 700m in Europe.

The airline manages 700,000 passengers annually between Africa and Brussels and is aiming one million in the coming year, which will suitably be served with this increased frequency of flights.
