Wizz Air, the largest low-cost carrier based in Central and Eastern Europe (CEE), has received two different 'Best Airline' accolades within a span of just a fortnight.
Readers of pasazer.com, one of the leading online travel portals in Poland, voted the largest low fares airline based in CEE as the 'best budget airline'.
About twenty-five per cent of respondents' nameed Wizz Air as the best low-cost airline in the country, which helped it to gain the prestigious award for the fourth year running was achieved.
While a survey conducted by Polish research institute TNS OBOP awarded the low-cost airline based in CEE 'the Gold Standard' accolade: this prize has been awarded in recognition of Wizz Air's affordable prices and good customer service.
Wizz Air is now the market leader in the low-cost airline market in Poland and Bulgaria as well as Hungary-its home base.
In line with a steady growth, the low-cost operator has uncovered its expansion plans for its fleet of Airbus A320s to 19 by the month of July.
At present, Wizz Air operates its services to 10 leading UK airports, including London Stansted, London Luton, Glasgow-Prestwick and Bournemouth. This award would boost the confidence of the airlines and also the passengers using services of Wizz Air--perhaps in future, the airlines would start some new destinations in different countries across the world.
