In times when most airline companies are trying to cut costs and reduce traveller services, the French flag carrier Air France's announcement regarding the up gradations to its in-flight entertainment serves is really good news for customers.
Now, passengers travelling on Air France's long-haul services will not only be enjoying a wider choice of music, but they can be able to enjoy the carrier's offering alternatively on a monthly basis, offering a variety for them. What's more, passengers will also be enjoying some of the latest songs.
Travellers in all the cabins of Air France's long-haul flights can choose from 15 categories of music, which allows them to make a choice from a total of two-hundred CDs of music and an impressive 3,000 individual tracks per flight.
The selection includes something for all, including jazz fans, lovers of world music, as well as to those who cherish classical compositions. Little ones will also have a separate station for their entertainment.
The vice president in charge of marketing for Air France, Patrick Roux, said that almost two thirds of all customers travelling with the airline on its long-haul flights are not residents of France, which clearly highlights the importance of offering a wide selection of music in order to keep all clients happy.
The innovative character of the carrier's new entertainment system goes beyond just the wide choice of music: travellers can create their own play-lists, and get a convenient access to the music they like the most.
