Setting out to the rural Mid Wales with the 4-day 'bring-your-own-horse' riding breaks offered by Equine Adventures, you have a wonderful opportunity to gallop across the wild landscape to take in some of the magnificent and panoramic views. You can explore the miles of expansive stretches and open Mooreland forming part of the Upper Teme Valley. The experience can be further enhanced by a stay at the family run traditional Welsh stone farmhouse of Brandy House Farm. From Felindre, Brandy House riding break departs daily scheduled throughout the year 2008.
Earlier a hill farm of 150 acres, Brandy House is presently a beautiful small holding stretching across a 10 acre land offering splendid views of the Upper Teme valley. The property is wonderfully furnished with ensuite accommodation set in an old and traditional farmhouse located adjacent to a barn. For those who want to stable their horses, the property provides four stables.
For those without their own horses, horse hire can also be arranged to enjoy riding over the majestic Cambrian Mountains and across the miles of moorland. The bridleways are unmarked and left to wild. However, to ensure that the guests do not lose their way, either a local guide or hostess from the Brandy House will accompany the guests on their ride. On their return, the guests can enjoy pre-dinner drinks and 3-course candlelit meal.
The price of the 4-day package starts from £495 p/p with two people sharing with most meals and stable.
