Despite the growth of holiday markets and the emergence of new destinations, Spain continues to attract great numbers of British holidaymakers. Based on a survey report released by Holidays-Direct.co.uk, an online travel agency, Barcelona is listed as one of the topmost choice besides some other favourite locations at Spain. In addition, there are also a range of new city break destinations emerging throughout Spain.
With most Brits choosing their holiday destination only four weeks prior to booking their trips, Holidays-Direct.co.uk says that most of them look for destinations in Spain with city breaks in Barcelona. Some of the other notable favorites for Brits are Greece, Lanzarote and Tenerife, while the other favorite city breaks are Venice, Dublin and Rome.
Jon Pearce, Holidays-Direct.co.uk personnel remarks, "We all know that Brits love holidays in Spain, they have been a favourite for years, as have holidays in Greece. There are plenty of cheap holidays available in both destinations. The other top 10 holiday destinations are the Spanish islands (the Canaries and Balearics) as well as the Caribbean, Tunisia and Sharm el Sheikh."

Without having any reliable information, it is a common belief that Rome was the place where St. Pancras was born and his uncle raised him young and when he was 14 years old, he was executed for his faith. Now, how pertinent that one should begin a journey to Rome from the new St. Pancras International station.
You can settle back comfortably in your seat as the journey to Paris starts on the UK's first High Speed line, and after a station's change you will be heading to Geneva, from where a direct overnight train will take you to Rome.
As you have a reservation for a two-berth cabin, you can have your dinner at the restaurant as you travel through the Alps before you set down for your overnight journey.

Shell Vacations' Las Vegas resort is approaching completion of a $17,000,000 development that changed it from a low-cost suite motel to a high-quality vacation holding. During the construction period, nearly four years, it received an industry award for its design as well as appreciation for its customer service.
The three-story property recognised as the Hawthorne Suites contained 284 hotel rooms in four buildings, when it was acquired by Shell Vacations in association with Pat Nesbitt in 2004.
In January 2005, the management was passed over to the Shell Vacations Hospitality, the development of the first building was accomplished in June. Each of the following three phases, with about seventy-two units, required 6 to 7 months to finish. The fourth and final building is expected to be complete by September this year,

What makes Las Vegas such a hit with visitors is that it is a city that is constantly improvising and changing. It welcomes nearly 39 million visitors annually. With more than $30 billion in projects under construction or in planning stages, it is safe to say that, in 2007, visitors will see and experience more in Las Vegas than ever before. Wynn Las Vegas has introduced the Broadway hit "Monty Python"s Spamalot" starring John O"Hurley. The show is based on the movie "Monty Python and the Holy Grail." It tells the story of King Arthur and the Knights of the Round Table and their irreverent quest for the Holy Grail. Mel Brooks" Broadway hit "The Producers," starring David Hasselhoff and Brad Oscar, opened at Paris Las Vegas in February. Currently, it is the only production of the Broadway musical west of the Mississippi. "X" Burlesque made its debut this year at the 180-seat Flamingo Cabaret. "X" Burlesque combines imaginative choreography with outrageous props such as bungees, bathtubs and beds. From slow, sensual ballet-inspired routines to funky and energetic acrobatic numbers, the 90-minute production showcases a variety of dance styles and the latest rock, pop and hip-hop music. |
