In a significant move, Eurostar, the high-speed passenger train service of the UK is to introduce new extra services for the summer connecting St Pancras International/Ashford International and Disneyland Resort Paris, with effect from Thursday, the 18th July 2008. Interestingly, these extra services are to add about 33,000 seats over the existing number to and from the resort. The tickets are to go on sale from 18th March 2008.
The direct services operated on daily basis to Disneyland Resort Paris have always enjoyed a great popularity. In addition, the demand has further increased with the opening of St Pancras International. In addition, the launch of High Speed 1, the UK's first 186 mph line, during last November has further boosted the traffic in this route. The new extra direct trains are scheduled to run on Monday, Tuesday, Friday and Saturday with departures from London St Pancras International/Ashford International. On Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday, the services will depart from Disneyland Resort Paris.
Simon Montague, Eurostar's Director of Communications, observed, "These extra services will make it even easier for families and friends to visit Europe's leading tourist attraction during the summer holidays. The midday departure times are ideal for travellers living in towns and cities beyond London, who can buy through fares and use domestic rail to St Pancras International, King's Cross and Euston to connect with Eurostar high-speed trains".

Without having any reliable information, it is a common belief that Rome was the place where St. Pancras was born and his uncle raised him young and when he was 14 years old, he was executed for his faith. Now, how pertinent that one should begin a journey to Rome from the new St. Pancras International station.
You can settle back comfortably in your seat as the journey to Paris starts on the UK's first High Speed line, and after a station's change you will be heading to Geneva, from where a direct overnight train will take you to Rome.
As you have a reservation for a two-berth cabin, you can have your dinner at the restaurant as you travel through the Alps before you set down for your overnight journey.

Located very close to the airport on the outskirts of Paris, the Rungis market is the largest of its type on the entire globe. More interestingly, the best meals of Paris begin here. For most critics, the outline difference between an extraordinary meal and a mediocre meal starts with Rungis more so with the extraordinary ability of the chef to procure the finest ingredients.
Context Paris docent Louisa Chu is to escort a group to Rungis on 26th December to tour around the market. With a remarkable experience at the Cordon-bleu under a reputed former chef of Alain Ducasse's Plaza Athenes, Chu has the credit of a wide experience in navigating across the miles of fish stalls and meat lockers in addition to the fresh fruits and vegetables that arrive in Rungis on a daily basis.
Paul Bennett, Context founder remarks, "Rungis is mecca for anyone serious about food. It's much more than just a market. It's the center of the gastronomic world in Paris. And Louisa, with her hands-on experience in some of the finest restaurants in town, is just the person to take us there."

As a kick off to New Zealand's Rugby World Cup 2011 campaign, Helen Clark, the Prime Minister officially declared the opening of the giant rugby Ball. The other officials who attended the event included Sarah Dennis, New Zealand Ambassador in France, Paris Deputy Mayor, Mr Pascal Cherki, and Michel Dumont, Mayor of the 7th Arondissement. Some of the notable international media contingent that covered the event included TF1, TV5 Monde, APT, Phoenix Satellite TV France, Reuters, France Inter and RTL radio, over eight papers and magazines, AFP, online media, and European Press Society.
Expressing his delight over the event of official opening, George Hickton, Tourism New Zealand Chief Executive remarked, "This has given us the opportunity to profile 100% Pure New Zealand, the second most well known New Zealand brand after the All Blacks, in a key international environment. We want to tell international rugby fans that a trip to RWC 2011 is a trip to rugby heaven. And to show that as well as rugby they will have a unique tourism experience no matter where they, or their team, are staying and playing throughout New Zealand." |

Not satisfied with building the world's biggest golf course, Australia has turned up with one more wacky plan to attract visitors down-under. In a recent survey by a travel magazine, Sydney has been chosen as the preferred city, and no wonder that more visitors attraction could further boost the interest of tourists and visitors in Australian tours. Seemingly, Neighbours' sun drenched streets have been drawing fans from the UK so successfully that Tourism Australia is willing to film a Japanese Soap Opera in Australia, in a bit to lure Japanese fans.
The establishment now has one renowned Japanese actor signed up for the plan and is expecting to get the cameras reeling in the coming months. This could be a real enjoying item for the visitors.
